During a spring holiday in Rome you may want to take a break from the historical beauty and enjoy a few hours (especially if you are travelling with children) at the Roman Zoo "Bioparco" in the city centre.
The zoo is located in the center of Rome, right next to the famous Villa Borghese
Inside the Bioparco Zoo there is an incredible selection of wonderful animals and lovely places to have a snack or even lunch if you want to stay for the day. Not many people know that this Roman "Bioparck" is actually the oldest one in Italy, so it is worth a visit.
If you are visiting Rome with your family this is definitely a fantastic destination to put on your list of places to see.
I have left the links to the sites in this blog and also here you can find the map of the Bioparck.
If you are looking for a stay in Rome we suggest "The Heart of Trastevere"
